About our Church
“... upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:18-19 KJV)
Our Church was built upon the rock of Jesus Christ and was founded on February 19, 1989 by our Pastor, Dr. Charles H. Jackson, Sr., in Atlanta, Georgia.
Spread the Word Church Ministries is a non-denominational Christian Church made up of a body of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who believe that eternal salvation is only found through a confession and belief in Jesus Christ.
We are a Church on a mission to Spread the Word of God, Seek and help bring to salvation those who are lost, and empower the saved to achieve the abundant life in Christ Jesus.
We are a Church that believes the Holy Bible is the perfect inspired Word of God, all sufficient for living the abundant life in Christ Jesus and is the authority for the governance, theology and doctrine of the Church. We are a Church that believes in the one true God who manifests Himself in three ways: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit – Trinity of God.
